Looking for a field
trip that is affordable, educational and fun?
The Flint Children's Museum inspires discovery, learning
and imagination through hands-on play and exploration. We are
a great resource for teachers and schools looking to provide
a valuable, engaging learning experience for early elementary
and preschool age children.
Over 40 new hands-on educational exhibits
We have developed our new exhibits with the help of area
teachers and administrators to demonstrate and reinforce the Michigan
Curriculum benchmarks and standards for children ages
2-10
We are the perfect way to complement your classroom lessons
in a fun, hands-on environment!
We have exhibits and activities focusing on:
- Language Arts
- Performing Arts
- Physical Science
- Earth Science
- Social Studies
...and more!
Our parent-friendly exhibit signage helps adult chaperones
to guide children's understanding of each concept from simple
machines to math to health and safety.
Special Programs
- Learn about the human body with Stuffee, a
six-foot doll that literally turns himself inside out when
he and a presenter teach children about anatomy, nutrition
and digestion.
