Looking for a field trip that is affordable, educational and fun?

The Flint Children's Museum inspires discovery, learning and imagination through hands-on play and exploration. We are a great resource for teachers and schools looking to provide a valuable, engaging learning experience for early elementary and preschool age children.

Over 40 new hands-on educational exhibits

We have developed our new exhibits with the help of area teachers and administrators to demonstrate and reinforce the Michigan Curriculum benchmarks and standards for children ages 2-10

We are the perfect way to complement your classroom lessons in a fun, hands-on environment!

We have exhibits and activities focusing on:
  • Language Arts
  • Performing Arts
  • Physical Science
  • Earth Science
  • Social Studies

...and more!

Our parent-friendly exhibit signage helps adult chaperones to guide children's understanding of each concept from simple machines to math to health and safety.

Special Programs

  • Learn about the human body with Stuffee, a six-foot doll that literally turns himself inside out when he and a presenter teach children about anatomy, nutrition and digestion.

Flint Children's Museum offers free, customized field trips! Download our brochure to customize your upcoming field trip, and call us with your choices.
